'Days of War' (ALL) Coming to Steam Early Access in January 2017 - Trailer

by Rainier on Dec. 8, 2016 @ 1:40 p.m. PST

Days of War invites WWII shooter fans to join up with their friends and construct their favorite battle scenes/bases, then play them out in the style of classic competitive shooters.

Fallout 4 delivered detailed in-game base building content but lacked the depth of multiplayer.  Minecraft gave us an immensely collaborative multiplayer experience but with only very basic building blocks.  Imagine a game that combined the best of both. Detailed building content in a collaborative multiplayer environment.

Everyone has their favorite scene from Enemy at the Gates, Saving Private Ryan, or Band of Brothers: a sniper perched in a clock tower, a hedgerow of artillery in Belgium, the tight alleys of Carentan.  It’s great fun to play in these historic settings, but Driven Arts believes it’s just as much fun to build them.

The success of Minecraft, Mario Maker, or the base builder in Fallout 4 can all be attributed to player creation being accessible and central to gameplay.  It’s given your average player a taste for how fun it is to be a part of building the game you play.

Days of War is a fast paced WW2 shooter with 32 player infantry combat in a high fidelity environment. Days of War makes a return to the classic WW2 shooter with the latest industry technology.

In Days of War, bullets are what matter, not kill-streaks, not wall jumps, and certainly not drone strikes ordered from iPads.

Driven Arts' fast paced online WW2 shooter Days of War will be coming to Steam Early Access in January, 2017.

Players will be able to storm Omaha beach come January. Community members requested the map earlier in the year, with one stating “I dont see how they can NOT bring it over. Think about it, what was the FIRST true WW2 gaming experience all of us had many many many years ago? It was MoH landing at Omaha.” Being huge fans of Medal of Honor, Driven Arts was happy to oblige.

Players interested in supporting the continued development of the game can purchase Days of War on Steam Early Access this January at $24.99 (€24.99, £19.99) with 2 factions, 4 maps, and 32 player infantry combat.  Driven Arts will be adding more maps and the British and Russian factions during the Early Access period free of charge (no DLC). The full release version set to release later in 2017 will be priced at $39.99 (€39.99, £29.99).

Key Features:

  • Frenetic Action. High damage, high recoil, and short respawn times keep it fast paced with high consequence.

  • Objective Based Game Modes. It's not just about the best K/D ratio, its about pushing the line, securing the objective, or destroying the target.
