'Party Hard' Coming To PS4/XOne - Trailer

by Rainier on Feb. 11, 2016 @ 1:20 p.m. PST

Party Hard is a tactical strategy game of mass murder. Your neighbors are having a loud party at 3am. The only logical solution is to come over and stab them, going on a killing spree through the USA.

In Party Hard, you play as someone who is really tired of the neighbors having loud parties. Instead of calling the police, you decide it’s a better idea to kill everyone – using your faithful knife and the environment.

Party Hard will have semi-procedural environments and focus on unique ways of killing people. In the greatest traditions of sneaking games, your main goal is not to get caught, while silently picking off unsuspecting victims one by one. Dancing and blending in during a suspicious situation is key.

The tongue-in-cheek party murder simulator will launch on consoles, accompanied by the free "After-Party DLC."

When a player chooses to stream the game live on Twitch via their console, viewers can enter commands into the live chat to vote on horrible things that will happen at the party.

Key Features:

  • A dozen semi-procedural levels, following a murder spree through the USA
  • Unlockable characters including a ninja
  • gang behavior, people will gang up on you if you're aggressive in a crowd
  • firemen will come in case of fire
  • paramedics will come to collect dead bodies
  • in case of gang violence, explosions, robberies, or other extreme chaos -- a SWAT team will come and sort things out
  • agents will secure the area, soldiers will knock anyone out who is in their way
  • in case of drugs, DEA will come and attempt to arrest everyone in sight
  • there are occasional shady dealers whom you can buy things from
  • levels are now semi-procedural, they will have random events happen, slightly different layouts
  • AI treats you the same way as other AI characters
  • more interesting AI behaviors - going for a smoke, joining the dance floor in case of gogo dancers, etc
  • rare special events
  • special items, including a bomb
