QuakeCon is the ultimate video game festival and party. QuakeCon is open to the public and attendance is FREE thanks to the support of id Software, Bethesda Softworks, the QuakeCon volunteer staff, and the event sponsors/exhibitors.

Marking the event’s 21st year, QuakeCon 2016 will continue the tradition of celebrating video games and the people who play them, welcoming thousands of gamers from around the world for a four-day video game festival featuring North America’s largest BYOC (Bring-Your-Own-Computer) LAN Party.

QuakeCon will take place Thursday, August 4 – Sunday, August 7, 2016.

Created by a group of friends in 1996 and recently celebrating its 20th year, QuakeCon has grown to become a premiere gaming festival with the 2015 event welcoming more than 12,000 people through the doors. QuakeCon 2016 is open to the public and attendance is FREE for general attendees thanks to the support of id Software and Bethesda Softworks, the QuakeCon volunteer staff, and the event sponsors and exhibitors.

Free to general attendees and open to the public, next year's event will also offer lots of excitement for those who don’t bring their own computer. In addition to the event’s panels, presentations, and workshops, Bethesda will be showcasing their upcoming games to fans in attendance. Plus, a variety of top technology companies will be exhibiting the latest in gaming accessories and hardware. Each day of QuakeCon will be packed with tournaments, game presentations, contests, entertainment, announcements, panel discussions, parties and more!

Players from around the globe will once again come together to compete for their share of $25,000 cash in the QuakeWorld 2on2 Team Deathmatch Open and the Quake Live masters will be invited back to battle for the 2016 title in the Quake Live Duel Masters Championship.
