Dead Alliance is a multiplayer-focused, team-based tactical military shooter where opposing humans are the enemy and the undead are your most deadly weapon.

Moving Hazard is set 50 years after the collapse of civilization due to a fast-moving and unstoppable zombie plague. In this world, however, the zombies aren’t the main enemies, but instead lethal assets that can be weaponized to the player’s advantage using a variety of clever strategies and in-game devices.

In Moving Hazard, the zombie war is already lost and what remains of humanity has retreated to fortified military bases, leaving everything in between to the shambling corpses. In order to survive, the player’s squad must venture into the wasteland and face off against other survivors for control of important resources and strategic command points.

While battling powerfully equipped human opponents, the player will also need to survive the hunger of the zombie masses. Even more important, the player will use technology specifically evolved in this post-apocalyptic hellscape to control the mindless shamblers by attracting, repelling, sedating or angering the horde. Only by working as a strategic military team while simultaneously harnessing the power of the undead, can a battle be won.

Moving Hazard -- Every Zombie Is Your Weapon.

Moving Hazard’s Early Access release ($19.99) includes a robust feature set for a competitive shooter, including cutting-edge Unreal Engine 4 graphics, loadout customizations, player Factions with multiple classes, four maps, four game modes, and eight unique weapons. In addition, the game offers more than 30 Player Perks, more than 50 Weapon Mods, matchmaking and lobby services. The game’s “Player Hideout” allows players to level up, upgrade items and select personalized skills.

Moving Hazard genre mash-up introduces all new strategies and tactics to military shooter games as well as a fresh way to handle the undead in zombie games,” said Rocco Scandizzo, Managing Director, Psyop Games. “Players can now use the same tactics as the Governor in The Walking Dead, letting the zombies do the dirty work while you wipe out your enemies for their resources. With tons of additional content and features coming during Early Access, all based on community feedback, Moving Hazard is going to be the fresh take on competitive multiplayer shooters people have been waiting for.”

Moving Hazard also works with Corsair’s RGB Lighting Plugin for Unreal Engine 4 to bring the game’s user interface onto the keyboard. Developed using the Corsair Utility Engine (CUE), the SDK allows Unreal Engine 4 games to display multi-color lighting effects on Corsair’s award-winning RGB mechanical keyboards, including K70 RGB and STRAFE RGB. The lighting effects in Moving Hazard include weapon loadout indicators, special weapons timers, hit detection radar on the numpad, and more, giving Corsair RGB keyboard owners the edge when it comes to staying on top of their game.

Featuring realistic weapons and a full arsenal of tactical equipment, including military-grade assault weapons, classic fragmentation and smoke grenades, and claymores, Moving Hazard is a full-fledged military shooter.

However, players will also need to take advantage of technology specifically evolved in this post-apocalyptic hellscape that allow them to control the mindless shamblers by attracting, repelling, sedating, angering, or even booby-trapping the horde. A few examples of this enhanced zed-powered arsenal include:

  • The Pheromone Attractor Molotov (aka The PAM): turns any infected frenzied and hunt down enemies for a short period of time;
  • The Chaos Grenade: which stuns enemies while frenzying nearby zombies;
  • The Templar: broadcasts a signal that repels zombies, forcing the horde to turn in their tracks to head away as fast as possible.

These items and more allow players to shift the flow of combat on each map and present tactical options not found in any other squad-based shooter.
