Halo Wars 2 will feature a robust, story-driven campaign and plenty of multiplayer action. While we’re not talking about the game’s story (or where it takes place in the Halo timeline) just yet, we are very excited about the way it contributes to the expanding Halo universe, and we look forward to sharing more in the future.
On Monday, 13th June, Microsoft will have its annual pre-E3 press briefing, and what was surely planned as announcement during the presser has been leaked due to a prematurely discovered product page on the Xbox Games story.
Microsoft & Creative Assembly will be running a Halo Wars 2 open beta from June 13 until June 20, 2017, allowing Xbox One gamers to try out the game for the duration of E3.
Since this was discovered on the Xbox Games Store there are not details whether this will also be available to PC gamers.
