'Limbo' (ALL) Available for Free On Steam

by Rainier on June 21, 2016 @ 8:42 p.m. PDT

Limbo puts players in the role of a young boy traveling through a hostile world in an attempt to discover the fate of his sister.

Limbo is a puzzle platformer in which players control a boy as he traverses side-scrolling landscapes, solves obstacle puzzles, and defeats occasional enemies.

The game is rendered in black and white and the graphics are presented in a 2D side-view silhouette. Enemies throw fireballs, shoot arrows, or try to lure the boy into traps; traps and hazards contain giant boulders, saw blades, electric wires, spikes, and snapping bear traps. When killed, the boy gets flung around environments, impaled on spikes, or sliced into pieces. Black-and-white blood splashes accompany most attacks and death animations.

After being made available for free on Xbox One during E3 2016, developer PlayDead Studios is now offering PC gamers the same deal through Steam, but only for a limited time.

Add Limbo to your account and play for FREE starting now until June 22nd at 10AM Pacific Time! Once you add the game it will remain in your account after the free period, so don't miss out on this opportunity to play this dark, eerie adventure."
