'Lumo' (ALL) Coming to Retail

by Rainier on Aug. 2, 2016 @ 8:40 a.m. PDT

Lumo is a modern take on the classic isometric-styled action platformers that were highly popular in the '80s and early '90s.

A contemporary take on the isometric platform genre, Lumo can be enjoyed by anyone looking for an absorbing, challenging, and rewarding adventure. For those who lived through the golden age of video games – the 80s and early 90s – or know about the games and culture from that time, there are layer upon layer of nods and winks to be discovered and relished in Lumo.

Players can spend hours exploring over 400 rooms, finding secrets and solving puzzles, or they can hunt for all the subtle and not-so-subtle nods to the days of the Spectrum and beyond. What you get out of it is entirely down to you, Lumo is a true voyage of discovery.

Rising Star Games announced that the physical boxed edition of the isometric platform game Lumo will be available in the USA on August 30 for PS4 ($19.99). In Europe, boxed versions for PS4 and Vita will be available on September 9th (£19.99/€19.99).

"Lumo is a very special game to us,” said Martin Defries, Managing Director of Rising Star Games. “Having nurtured the project along its development journey and working so closely with the extremely creative talent at Triple Eh?, it is a game we wholeheartedly believe in and a game we want to continue to bring to as wide an audience as possible.”
