Legion 1917 is an isometric tactical turn-based strategy game set in the heart of 1917 Russia during the dark days of the Bolshevik revolution and civil war. Fate strikes a terrible blow to one family when a new power is born, forcing them to flee St. Petersburg to save their lives. This new power is the harsh and dangerous Bolshevik state – a state that seems destined to wage permanent civil war against its own citizens in order to create a new type of society.
You will take control of the brothers Vilem and Pavel, and try to lead them and their companions out of the failing empire. On their journey, they will face many historically accurate problems and see a new age dawning over the biggest country on the face of the earth.
Czech Republic based developer Sornyak Arts has launched a kickstarter campaign, looking for $68,826, to finish up development on Legion 1917: Rise of the Bolsheviks
Players will have many tactical features available to help them overcome different opponents, including a cover system, guard mode, grenades, melee combat, and machineguns. With enough skill, you might even be able to get on a train and make it back home. Sometimes even confident choices during the dialogues might help finish major tasks and side-quests.
All of that in our unique hand-drawn graphics with "old school" animations and in distinctive environments powered by Unreal Engine 4.
Players will witness radical changes in society as they depart on a journey through the largest country on Earth.
