'Uragun' Looking To Get Greenlit - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on March 22, 2017 @ 2:11 p.m. PDT

Uragun is a bloody action slaughterhouse in a classic, top-down style, which is a tribute to old-school 2D shooters.

It’s over. The Apocalypse is over. Humanity is over - the zombies has won. You’re a lone soldier inside of a mech - a machine specialized in close combat, larded with deadly tech. Stop thinking like a person. From now on, you’re a living weapon with only one purpose: sweet, sweet revenge.

The task is simple - get rid of the incoming waves of zombies. Each wave is larger, uglier and more desperate. This means more fun, as with time you acquire better weapons and gore surprises for the walkers. Uragun takes you back to the cult shooter titles: a fast paced butchery with lots of guns and power-ups with retro visuals and hard techno straight from the 90s. U are a Gun!

”At Kool2Play we put our money on variety” – says Michał Marzęcki, the founder and CEO of Kool2Play. ”In case of Uragun we sentimentally decided to go back to the roots of the genre. We believe though, that the game will be appreciated not only by those who remember the old-school 2D shooters.”

Fans interested in supporting Uragun can do so by voting for it on Steam Greenlight.

Key features:

  • 4 types of enemies: soldier, monster, zombie, bomber
  • 4 unique locations: a Russian base, Stonehenge, a desert, a city
  • 6 kinds of power-ups for regaining energy and additional attacks: airstrikes, including nuclear and napalm strikes, flame thrower, and artillery.
  • a large skill tree for the mech
  • a fast-paced gameplay with entrancing music
