The Silver Case is an adventure game where a string of serial murders is terrorizing the nation, and you, as a member of a special police unit, have to investigate.

1999 - the "24 Wards." A string of mysterious serial killings plagues the city.

The detectives of the 24 Wards Heinous Crimes Unit have their eyes on one man: Kamui Uehara, legendary serial killer and assassin of a number of government officials 20 years prior in the nowfamous "Silver Case." However, nobody knows who—or what—Kamui really is.

Has he really returned? Who is this infamous serial killer?

The Silver Case will include two brand-new chapters (Yami and White Out Prologue) that extend and complete the story of the game. The PS4 version of the game will feature two brand-new tracks and 12 remixes by Akira Yamaoka, Erika Ito and the Grasshopper Sound Team.

Whiteout Prologue is a short-but-sweet prologue that occurs years after the events in The Silver Case, and links the story and builds up the lore to SUDA51's episodic sequel, The Silver Case: Ward 25.

Yami, on the other hand, is a slightly larger scenario that takes place months after the last chapter of the game, serving as a conclusion of the initial game. This occurs during the Placebo section, where you see the murder mystery investigation from the viewpoint of freelance journalist, Tokio Morishima.

As the player, you will take control of the protagonist—a member of the Special Forces Unit known as “Republic”—from a first-person perspective. Inspired by classic adventure and visual novel-style games, The Silver Case offers a fresh and unique gameplay experience as it leads the player through an in-depth story containing various puzzles, and uncovering the truth piece by piece.

The Silver Case is SUDA51's inaugural title, originally released on PSOne in 1999, now getting a HD remake and being released for the first time outside of Japan.

The game will be fully remastered, while retaining the same atmosphere of the original 1999 game for Sony PlayStation, and the game will be fully localized into English for the first time, finally giving SUDA51 fans worldwide the chance to enjoy "The Silver Case" in English.

The Silver Case will be available as both a physical and digital release! There's also a limited edition available on the NISA Online Store ($49.99)! You can grab the standard edition on Amazon ($29.99).
