Quake Champions will deliver the mythos of the first Quake with the groundbreaking multiplayer mayhem of Quake III Arena. The game will also introduce a major new feature to the franchise – Champions – a roster of fierce warriors, each with unique attributes and abilities, which enable players to compete in their own distinctive style.
Bethesda will be hosting a Large Scale Tech Test from May 12 to May 21, during which time those who would like to play the pre-release version of the game will be able to sign-up and play immediately. No wondering if you’re going to get a code – you’ll get it right away!
And, during the Tech Test, the game will remain live 24/7 for the full duration, rather than the previous weekends-only structure.
During the Large Scale Tech Test, Quake Champions’ new 4v4, team-based competitive mode – Sacrifice – will be playable for the first time. Players should form their teams and choose their Champions to work together to dominate the Arenas in this fresh competitive play style.
There will be no NDA, the entirety of the Large Scale Tech Test will be available for players to stream, capture, and otherwise share and discuss publicly.
