Xbox One Backward Compatibility Will Be Adding Xbox Titles, Including Crimson Skies

by Rainier on June 11, 2017 @ 11:24 p.m. PDT

Xbox One is Microsoft's all-in-one gaming and entertainment system that puts you at the center of all your games, TV, movies, music, sports and Skype.

In Nov. 2015 Microsoft launched its Xbox One Backward Compatibility feature, with an initial set of more than 100 titles, allowing fans to take their Xbox 360 experience to Xbox One.

Since then it has added a number of titles on a monthly basis but based on fan feedback, the Xbox Engineering team will start to pilot a new way to launch Xbox One Backward Compatibility titles.

At Microsoft's E3 2017 briefing Head of Xbox Phil Spencer announced that Xbox will expand the Xbox One backward compatibility library of nearly 400 popular Xbox 360 games to include original Xbox classics, starting with fan favorite “Crimson Skies.”
