Gigantic is a free-to-play shooter MOBA where heroes battle alongside a massive guardian in a fight for supremacy. Gigantic tests teamwork, tactics, and timing as players confront a five-story foe and conquer a fantasy battlefield.

Even though it's gorgeously rendered, light-hearted and charming, Gigantic is for enthusiast gamers and pits teams of five heroes and their massive Guardians against each other in epic battles across a variety of maps. The game combines explosive combat with fast-paced teamwork, strategy, and skill, as players are required to work together and fight relentlessly to defeat opposing Guardians with spells, guns and swords.

This is Gigantic’s first major release since launch and it features the new Hero and mischief-maker, ORU! This mid-range caster introduces an entirely new set of tools to the battlefield, and we’re thrilled for him to join the Gigantic cast.

Today’s update also includes a host of new systems and polish, including Custom Lobbies and the ability to set a Push-to-Talk key for the in-game voice chat.

• New Hero: Oru: Oru, also known as ‘The Fortune Teller,’ is a mid-range damage dealer who excels in teamfights. His kit revolves around combining his skills to deal high damage and provide utility to the team in the form of crowd control. Additionally, Oru releases with his first set of skins, which are now available in the shop. Players can pick up the Mordant, Voracious, and Garrulous skins today!
• Custom Lobbies: Introducing the beta version of Custom Lobbies! This feature allows teams to arrange 5v5 matches without requiring them to enter the general matchmaking pool. As a beta feature, our goal is to implement the system in a way that allows us to quickly introduce it for use by the community.

Other Updates

The new Corruption update allows players to make use of several new features and refinements in Gigantic. This includes the highly anticipated Push-to-Talk feature for voice chat, which can be toggled in the settings menu. We’re also re-introducing a mechanic called Creature Gestation which promotes greater strategy at higher levels of play by giving players a window to attack and counter enemy creatures while they are still vulnerable.

• Meet Your Guardian: A five-story mythical monster, each guardian gathers a team of five heroes, fights at their side, and resurrects them when they fall in battle. Combine a hero's skill with the power of a naga, griffin, or another guardian to dominate the battle.
• Choose Your Hero: Choose from elusive snipers, powerful spellcasters, and heavy-metal juggernauts. No matter what kind of game you've played before, you'll find something familiar—and something new. As heroes fight, they level up and improve their skills. Players choose how to upgrade, improving their healing skill, developing a new area attack, or immobilizing their enemies.
• Control Your Battleground: Survival requires teamwork: player powers interlock and supplement each other, providing tactical flexibility. Summon unique creatures with special powers to seize key points and assist your team. Snipe from overlooks, sneak through tunnels, and guard chokepoints.
• Unleash Your Guardian: Capture points to empower your guardian, sending it on devastating rampages. Rampages destroy the terrain and reshape the battlefield, providing new tactical opportunities and vulnerabilities. Guardians also strike down other guardians, leading the path to victory.
