The Land of Pain is a Lovecraftian horror adventure that fuses intricate storytelling, survival mechanics and adventure-style puzzle-solving.

Something strange appears in the woods. Rain pours, and darkness hangs in the air. Life as you know it is about to change forever.

In this Lovecraftian horror adventure, you'll have to learn how to survive as you fend off a dark and disturbing evil.

The Land of Pain features a huge world to explore, an array of head-scratching puzzles, and an ever-present enemy from whom you can only flee, rather than fight.

Speaking of the upcoming release, Alessandro Guzzo said: "I can't wait for everyone to explore the dark world I've been working on for the past few years. It's been a huge undertaking, but now everything is completed. I couldn’t have made it without everyone's constant support, and I'm really proud of the final result."

Key Features:

  • You are unarmed - Your only chance of survival is to run as fast as you can, and exploit the environment to hide yourself.
  • Huge map - Explore buildings, caves, swamps, graveyards and more.
  • Beautiful visuals - CryEngine-powered graphics with photogrammetric technology and ambient sound creating a fully immersive game world.
  • Solve and interact - Use objects to solve puzzles, and seek out clues to help unravel the mystery.
  • Shrouded in darkness - Use a lantern to light the way, but be careful: you'll be more vulnerable when away from the darkness...

The Land of Pain will release on Wednesday 13 September, 2017.
