Zen Studios also placed a strong focus on helping players become more competitive, and have designed new single-player modes featuring special challenges that will help players develop their skills as they connect with the Pinball FX3 community.

For the past decade, Zen Studios has been delighted to share their passions with millions of players, taking them on an exciting, evolutionary pinball journey and is proud to announce that players will be able to bring a majority of their previous Pinball FX2 and Zen Pinball 2 purchases with them to Pinball FX3 on Xbox One, PC (Steam) and PS4 at no extra charge. 

Zen Studios confirmed the following Pinball FX3 cross-platform features.

Leaderboards, Matchups and Tournaments are all cross-platform enabled between the following communities and devices: 

• PlayStation Network + Steam
• Xbox One + Windows 10 + Steam.

Please note, players on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 may restrict their gameplay experience to their platform only if so desired.

Zen Studios continues to crank away on Pinball FX3, the biggest and most community-driven pinball game ever created. As we race towards launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows 10 and Steam, we are pleased to confirm the Pinball FX3 table roster.  

The Pinball FX2 / Zen Pinball 2 library is huge at this point – 65+ tables depending on which platform you play on. Many of these tables are based on brands from other companies, which Zen has “licensed” to create pinball games. There are a lot of business parameters that govern what we can do with this content. Some of our licensed content will not be able to come to Pinball FX3 due to business related challenges.

Further, we have spent a tremendous amount of time updating each Pinball FX3 table with dynamic lighting updates, updated graphics, new modes of play and other exciting features so they look and play better than ever! This has been a MASSIVE undertaking, but Zen remains committed to keeping the community together and providing an amazing value to players as they build their pinball collections.

While video game pinball has long been a solitary single player experience, Zen Studios has worked to create a new tournament structure that elevates competitive play in an exciting and engaging way. Players will have the ability to create their own pinball tournaments, compete in player vs. player match-ups and leagues, and compete in a variety of score based objectives that refresh constantly so there is always a new challenge awaiting.

As always, the pinball wizards at Zen Studios are working on new and exciting content. Pinball FX3 will launch with three brand new tables from a brand-new IP partner. These tables will be announced at a later date.
