Last year Funcom teamed up with Cabinet Group to establish Heroic Signatures, a new company that will hold and manage the interactive rights to numerous attractive intellectual properties from the writings of Robert E Howard and the Swedish original pen & paper and board games, such as Conan the Barbarian, Solomon Kane, and Mutant Chronicles.

At the same time it announced that the first of these projects developed by a third party and published by Funcom, would be revealed this year, so the upcoming announcement is most likely related to that.

The countdown site definitely has a very "Mutant Chronicles" looking vibe.
