Outside the arena, this food festival will feature original Asian-style dishes, many using the popular Cup Noodles, created by dozens of top local vendors. Inside the arena, Esports Arena Oakland will host a Super Smash Bros. tournament, featuring Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Melee, the second stop of the new global Smash Masters League.
The winner of the event will be flown to Esports Arena Las Vegas for the Championship event in December. Top Smash players and influencers, including Mang0, Hbox, ZeRo, D1, Plup and Nairo will be in attendance.
“NOODS NOODS NOODS is an incredible event because it brings two very popular worlds together – video gaming and food,” said Tyler Endres, CEO of Esports Arena. “The festival will showcase the skills of some of the best chefs and gamers in the Bay Area, and is the perfect event to introduce Oakland to the Esports Arena experience.”
