'Bomber Crew' (ALL) Gets PS4, Xbox One And Switch Date - Trailer

by Rainier on June 11, 2018 @ 6:52 a.m. PDT

Bomber Crew is a strategic survival sim in which you, the player, has to recruit, train and captain a crew of your own WW2 bomber plane where the only choice is to Fight and Flight.

In Bomber Crew players must recruit, train, and upgrade their very own WWII flight team before piloting a Bomber over enemy territory. Your crewmembers only have one life, so every mission is fraught with danger as you guide the crew to victory while dodging flak fire, maintaining course through unstable weather conditions, avoiding enemy radar detection, battling dreaded enemy Aces, and more. Still you know what they say - who dares, wins.

Every Bomber is fully customisable, with the ability to change the base colour - from gaudy pink to camo green - all the way up to upgrading its bombing capability and your chances of survival. Using the in-game tool, you can even slap your slogan on the side of the vehicle or draw your own wing art, to strike fear or laughter into the hearts of your enemies.

Recruiting, training and guiding the right crew, and keeping them alive, is vital in turning the tides of war and achieving success on your bombing campaign.

As well as releasing on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on July 10th, Bomber Crew’s Season Pass comes to console on the same date, along with the Deluxe Editions and the debut DLC pack, Secret Weapons.

Secret Weapons sees players taking to the skies during the WWII “Big Week” in the winter of 1944. Players will be faced with new treacherous weather conditions to fly in, new enemy Aces to confront, changes to the airbase (bring a jacket for the snow!), and more ways to upgrade the Bomber.

Players can also purchase the Season Pass for access to all the announced and released DLC, as well as one further set of unannounced side missions. The Season Pass offers a significant saving to purchasing all DLC separately.

Bomber Crew for console, which has proven to be a favourite among roguelike streamers on Twitch, will also include the all-new Infinite Mode and leaderboards, which will also release on PC on July 10th.

After generating $1 million within its first two weeks on sale for PC, Runner Duck Games and Curve Digital are excited to get Bomber Crew in the hands of console players on July 10th, as well as offering a host of improvements for PC players to enjoy. Chocks away!

Key Features:

  • Choose your Crew!: Train and personalise your own Bomber Crew. Procedurally-generated names, skills and back stories means a unique experience for everyone, but be careful, as death is permanent.
  • Immersive flight simulation!: Carefully manage everything from fuel, ammo, hydraulics and more in your very own physics-based Bomber. Make it yours with a wide array of nose art and liveries, or design your own with the simple to use in-game tool.
  • Fast paced strategy!: Each mission is a high-risk expedition where danger comes from every angle. Enemy fighters, flak guns, poor weather, low oxygen and an array of other perilous dangers await when the wheels are up.
  • Be prepared!: Preparation is key for a successful mission. Tag enemy fighters before they reach you, make sure your destination is marked but most importantly, make sure you have the right team for the job. On a WW2 bomber, every role is essential for victory!

Already available on Steam, Bomber Crew is coming to Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch on July 10th.
