In a world shattered by an orbital collision, ruffians, rockers and degenerates must forge teams and defend their turf in explosive firefights. Supremacy is the number one goal in RockShot’s chaotic world, so teams must coordinate their attacks to strategically dismantle the opposition and expand their territories. RockShot isn’t for the faint-hearted!
In RockShot’s RAID Mode, teams can design and build their own bases, defending them tooth and nail against enemy assaults, or infiltrate the bases of their enemies and extend their sphere of influence on the map. There ain’t no running from this sphere; teams that dominate the arena can have their chickens and eat them too! An easy to learn base-editor ensures players and their friends can build the base that best represents their squad. Earned resources can be invested in a powerful arsenal to keep the enemy at bay — from standard issue firearms and machine guns to marvelous melee weapons like katanas or even “Flying Vanguard” electric guitars. The occasional earth-shattering airstrike or two can quickly turn the tide of battle as well. Edgy rocky music and matching character outfits round out the atmosphere.
In addition to RAID Mode, players can cut their teeth and earn experience in various PvP and PvE game modes — some familiar to old-school shooter fans and others more eccentric that will be rotated in every few weeks. Launch game modes additionally include Team Deathmatch and Free4-All. RockShot’s first timed special event will unite players to survive an invasion of mutant experiments in Chimera-Mode.
RockShot shot its payload on Steam Early Access too soon and the community wasn’t happy, falling short of its promises to give players a damn good time through its insane game modes, over-the-top weapons and pure anarchy on the battlefield. Gameforge and Soleil have listened and have a buttload of new updates to announce!
RockShot’s latest major content update is available now — featuring tons of changes made to the game based on player feedback and the addition of new content. Since launch, RockShot has been updated to include several new maps, new weapons, free unlockables and gifts, new Event Modes, new vanity items and more — DAYUM! Check out a quick bullet list below of new content available now in RockShot:
- New Maps: Old Dominion, Boot Camp, Navy Base and Rockies
- World Cup 2018 Cosmetics
- New Daily Login and Mission Rewards
- New Event Mode: Close Quarters
- Mode Selection: Drill, RAID and Events
- Expanded Language Support: English, German and as of today French, Polish and Turkish. Spanish and Italian to follow in a few days.
Based on valuable feedback from the community, Gameforge and Soleil strive to make RockShot the best game that it can be. Updates have also addressed launch server connection issues, game optimization and removed/refunded wack AF “Pay 2 Win” content, putting the focus back on player progression and optional cosmetics (because real fly guys and gals kick ass on their skill alone). Additional updates are on their way! And in just a few days, more global players can jump on in when Spanish and Italian language support is added.
Gameforge and Soleil are aiming to bring a classically-inspired but gung-ho third-person shooter to gamers itching to cause mayhem with their friends.
It’s time to rock out with your glock out, baby!
