You are Marie, a 13-year-old girl who, reluctantly, decides to join her younger sister and friends for one last camping weekend in the wilderness. But what begins as the perfect goodbye to summer quickly takes an unexpected turn after an argument with your sister ends with her running off into the forest. While searching for her, you stumble upon an old forgotten estate...

Lake Ridden developer Midnight Hub revealed that it has let go its entire development team, and everybody is applying for new jobs, and since the indie studio consisted of 5 people this basically means it has been shut down.

Hi all! Unfortunately we have had to let te whole Lake Ridden team go.

Our studio have been working for three years to bring you Lake Ridden, and we're super proud of what we managed to create, but the budget just doesn't add up :/

Despite the best possible launch the numbers of sold copies are too few. We made a 96% positive rated game, got featured 5 days on Steam front page on top selling, had massive stream coverage, exhibited om 4 conferences, worked with 2 PR firms. But it didn't help.

Selling games on Steam (and GOG + Humble) in 2018 when there's 190 new games released/week + average Steam user buys 8 new games/year is....hard. But we'll forever be happy we did our best and that people really loved the game in the end

Lake Ridden will not be pulled from Steam, and you'll still be able to get support for the game, but the whole team is now applying for new jobs.
