'Think of the Children' Comes To Switch, PS4 and Xbox One Next Week

by Rainier on Sept. 17, 2018 @ 4:07 p.m. PDT

Think of the Children is a frantic co-operative parenting simulator for up to four players.

Little Bobby’s dead, the BBQ’s on fire, Jen’s eating poisonous berries and the birthday cake still needs icing. It’s just another wonderful day out with the kids. So, READY!... SET!... PARENT!

Hauled before the Court for bad parenting, the Prosecution presents a series of events that will either condemn or exonerate you: a birthday party at the park, a day at the zoo, a camping trip, an unexpected visit to the Australian Outback and more. But each of these locations proves to be far more dangerous than they sound--even the tamest of environments are filled with deadly hazards.

Team up with other parents or fly solo as a single parent and play through each event in flashback to prove your parenting skills--and your innocence--to the judge, and avoid going to jail. Success depends on you working together, getting your tasks done, and most importantly, keeping the kids ALIVE!

Featuring 1-4 player couch co-op, Twitch and Mixer integration that allows streamers to name the children after random viewers, a wide range of levels, the ability to customise and save characters as families, level rankings (for those who love a challenge) and a myriad of customisation unlocks, Think of the Children is a fast-paced task management game with a colourful comedic twist.

Key Features:

  • Multi-tasking mayhem: There’s never a dull moment when you’ve got the BBQ to tend, picnic tables to set, some of the kids are playing with a rabid dog, and two of them just ran out onto the road.
  • Parenting is hard: To get a good parenting grade and avoid jail time you’ll need to get all your tasks done, keep the kids happy, and… KEEP THEM ALIVE!
  • Nowhere is safe: The local park, the beach, the supermarket, the zoo. Great places for a day out with the kids. That is, aside from the poisonous berries, ravenous seagulls, towering grocery shelves and electrified pens.
  • All kinds of families welcome: Single parent? Two mums? A mum, two dads and a horse in a long distance relationship? It’s all good. Name and customise your parents and children the way you want them, and save them individually or as a family. Parent solo or with up to four players in local co-op.

Think of the Children will be launching on Nintendo Switch and PS4 on September 25th 2018, and September 26th for Xbox One, priced at $12.99 USD.
