In the grim darkness of the distant future, there are only goats.
It all started with a freak nuclear accident that gave all goats the necessary intelligence to quickly overthrow their human owners with their powerful rams, high jumps, and ear-blowing bleats. No, wait, that wasn’t it. The goats were intelligent from the very beginning, but since they had no thumbs, they waited patiently for humanity to develop automated robots capable of producing what they needed in order to... No, that doesn’t work either. In an alternate universe, goats are the mightiest warriors of the...
OK, look, we admit it. There’s no lore here. You are a goat. You’re armed to the teeth (well, the horns). There are other goats out there who want to kill you. It’s as simple as that. Now go out there and show 'em what you’ve goat.
Want to know more about Goat of Duty?
Goat of Duty is a fast-paced and intense multiplayer first-person shooter, and that’s pretty much all you need to know. No nonsense: no need to master a convoluted metagame, learn different characters, combine skills, strategic team play... just devilish combat arenas, powerful weapons, and fast-paced action. Well, and lots of silly humor, crazy goatstumes (skins), and goat mechanics for you to troll your friends to your heart’s content!
Currently available on Steam Early Access, Goat Of Duty will officially release on January 16th, 2020 at 14.99€/$!
Today's Roadmap Celebration Update implements a new game mode called Markhor Tag. Like a demented version of a child game of tag, players earn victory points only by being (and surviving) the infamous Markhor Goat -- thus, they have to find and kill whoever is Markhor in order to become it... and in turn, surviving being hunted by all the other players for as long as possible!
The Roadmap Celebration Update will also add a new map to the game: Death Valley, which will bring a unique take on a really vertical scenario for you to see more flying goats than ever! Deep cliffs, the natural habitat for the hardiest goats of the world, will become the battleground in this level that will remind you of the hardiness of Death Well.
Roadmap Celebration Update - New Features
- Become the Markhor Goat in a new game mode, Markhor Tag, that will have players chasing one goat. Once that goat is dead, its killer will become the Markhor Goat
- Explore new ways to play with vertical spaces in the new map Death Valley
- Tweak your controller with the new advanced sensitivity option: if enabled set the horizontal and vertical sensitivity factor to 1:1 and split the values per axis
- CPU performance improved
- AI improved (these goats are getting smarter every day!)
- Goatipedia expanded with hints and help systems!
- Many hotfixes and quality-of-life improvements
