With over 150 songs to challenge the hardcore fan, there has never been a DJMAX game quite so robust and feature-packed with new content that’s never been played in the series. Songs from top electronic artists like Marshmello and Porter Robinson are joining the fray, along with special collaborations with Riot Games’ League of Legends.
For the first time since DJMAX Online, competitive online play will feature prominently in DJMAX Respect V, as it will support up to seven (7) players in online matches as well as 1vs1 ranked ladder matches where players can play other players with similar skills, and climb the leaderboards based on their performance.
DJMAX Respect V is the PC edition of 2018’s hit rhythm game that was previously only available on PS4. Respect represents the culmination of every past DJMAX release. The base game comes packed with an unprecedented number of songs to play: 161 in total with an original opening song and 9 newly licensed tracks exclusive to DJMAX Respect V. After full launch, at least 20 more new songs will be released as DLC.
DJMAX Respect V will launch on Steam Early Access starting December 19, 2019 so the developers can adequately test the series’ new online game modes.
“We’ve been dying to bring DJMAX back to the PC for a long time now,” says Ji Soo Moon, CEO of Neowiz. “After Respect had such success on PS4, we knew we had to bring it to the PC in a big way with more features and music. Adding in competitive online play is just another way to give the game’s hardcore fans what they’ve been craving.”
Rocky Studio and Neowiz are fully committed to keeping the Early Access period short and focused.
Featuring both keyboard and full controller support (Coming Soon), and an extensive tracklist spanning numerous genres, like Pop, Rock, Electronic, Ambient, Jazz and even Easy Listening, DJMAX Respect V will leave no rhythm gamer wanting!
Currently available for PS4, DJMAX Respect V is coming to PC in 2020.
