'Goat of Duty' Closed Beta Will Introduce Fus Ro Arena Mode - Trailer

by Rainier on June 4, 2019 @ 10:32 a.m. PDT

Goat of Duty is the fast-paced multiplayer shooter where you can be a goat armed to the horns in relentless deathmatch as you bleat and troll your friends, wear the craziest goatstumes, and test your skills in the quirkiest FPS to become the GOAT of goats!

In the grim darkness of the distant future, there are only goats.

It all started with a freak nuclear accident that gave all goats the necessary intelligence to quickly overthrow their human owners with their powerful rams, high jumps, and ear-blowing bleats. No, wait, that wasn’t it. The goats were intelligent from the very beginning, but since they had no thumbs, they waited patiently for humanity to develop automated robots capable of producing what they needed in order to... No, that doesn’t work either. In an alternate universe, goats are the mightiest warriors of the...

OK, look, we admit it. There’s no lore here. You are a goat. You’re armed to the teeth (well, the horns). There are other goats out there who want to kill you. It’s as simple as that. Now go out there and show 'em what you’ve goat.

Want to know more about Goat of Duty?

Goat of Duty is a fast-paced and intense multiplayer first-person shooter, and that’s pretty much all you need to know. No nonsense: no need to master a convoluted metagame, learn different characters, combine skills, strategic team play... just devilish combat arenas, powerful weapons, and fast-paced action. Well, and lots of silly humor, crazy goatstumes (skins), and goat mechanics for you to troll your friends to your heart’s content!

Goat of Duty is a game about goats killing each other, we can all agree on that, right? But, is it really a game about goats being goats? Wonder no more because Goat of Duty's new game mode, Fus Ro Arena, is all about goats living their dreams and will be available in the next closed Beta, that will be held from June 6 at 7pm CEST until June 10 at 10am CEST.

Get ready because you will only be able to use one weapon, the Fus Ro Bleat, a kind of shotgun that emits shockwaves and can be used in creative ways. Push other goats, play tennis with them and even try to keep them in the air as long as possible! Besides the Fus Ro Bleat, players will also be able to ram their opponents out of bounds or against electrical or spiky fences. Say goodbye to campers, because in this mode goats will have to get close to each other in order to finish them.

To celebrate this news, Goat of Duty will add four new goatstumes as well as three additional maps that will all be available in this week's beta. To get access to it, players will have to get in the Discord Server, the best place to meet other 3.000 goat lovers, get in touch with developers and help shape the game until its full release.

NEW IN THIS BETA

  • The Fus Ro Arena mode. Use the Fus Ro Bleat weapon and the ram to defeat your enemies
  • Try four new goatstumes: Goat of Duty, Goat in the Shell, Fallgoat and Fus Ro Goat
  • Troll your opponents to death... or at least out of bounds or into electrified or spiked fences
  • Experience this new game in three crazy maps
