Once the cameras are rolling, players will control their cast of five colored-jumpsuit-clad warriors in dramatic, turn-based battles. The developers behind the game grew up watching sentai series like Flashman and Changeman, as well as Saban’s Power Rangers, which had a particularly huge influence on the creation of Chroma Squad.
Throughout the game, players will cast actors, purchase & upgrade equipment, craft weapons, and build giant mechs to battle evil and fight for justice with the goal of generating high TV viewer ratings.
Chroma Squad features classic sprite-based graphics and presents its story in a humor-filled Tokusatsu style made famous in classic, live-action Japanese sci-fi film and TV shows.
Behold Studio and Plug In Digital announced that Chroma Squad is coming to Nintendo Switch starting on August 1st.
Pre-orders (North American or European eShop) are already opened with a little surprise: Alkemi's game Transcripted for free for any order before July 31st.
