It’s almost time to wreak havoc on a destructible voxel world by hacking enemies and the environment into tiny cubes with upcoming shoot-and-slash dungeon crawler Riverbond.
In true dungeon crawling style, Riverbond takes players on a journey through memorable worlds where they will battle monsters, find treasure and become the hero. With fast and fluid controls for maximum action, Riverbond lets players choose their play style by letting them select from a bevy of melee and ranged weapons to fight quirky enemies, take down towering bosses or completely decimate everything in sight.
Riverbond will welcome adventurers with lighthearted, loot-grabbing fun on Nintendo Switch later this year.
“Riverbond is a homage to the 16-bit era and some of the best co-op memories we’ve ever made, but we’re also inspired and humbled by modern indies which hold a special place in our hearts,” said Vanessa Chia, Co-Founder and Art Director, Cococucumber. “By fusing classic arcade action with a modern approach to level design and co-op gaming, we hope to give families, friends, and every kind of adventurer a warm welcome on Nintendo Switch.”
Cococucumber also revealed that a world will be debuting on Nintendo Switch, and coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC as DLC.
Riverbond will release on Nintendo Switch later this year, supporting English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, and Latin American Spanish, as well as Japanese and Korean at launch.
In addition, Riverbond features eight crossover skins from the following beloved indie games. Players can find these playable guest skins hidden in treasure chests throughout the stunning voxel world.
- Raz Aquato - Psychonauts

- Juan Aguacate - Guacamelee!
- Demelza - Knights and Bikes
- The Kid - Bastion
