TERA is an MMORPG where you battle epic wars, protect your kingdom from demise, and brings you thrills never experienced before in traditional MMOs with its action-filled gameplay and riveting visuals.

TERA brings true action combat into a high fantasy MMORPG setting. Players explore a vast world where their combat skills are put to the test against deadly Big Ass Monsters (BAMs). They’ll need to actively dodge out of the way of incoming attacks, study enemy attack patterns, and execute precise skill combos to take them down! You will have full control over the attacks and the fate of your enemy. No more "pointing and clicking" and playing combat relay with the enemies. Furthermore, not only do you control the action, TERA is also set in a world where the players will dictate the flow of the economy and individually impact the community environment.

In TERA, players master their destiny in a richly detailed game world with a pioneering dynamic combat system. Individual player actions can transform the balance of power in a world where old rivalries are erased, and disparate races must form a common federation to stave off destruction by marauding monsters and warring gods.

You become part of the realm of Arborea, created by the Ancient Gods. You defend your race in a fantasy world where your creators, descendents of the Ancient Gods, have warred upon each other centuries ago. Join forces and become part of a vast world in constant conflict, where new battles and weaponry skills will leave you grasping for more as you become immersed in the realm of Arborea. Take charge and become the hero the world seeks!

With a character type to match nearly every play style and innumerable customization options, TERA gives every player a gameplay experience that is uniquely their own. Quest solo, bring your friends, or make new ones…the world of TERA awaits.

With the recent shutting down of publisher En Masse Entertainment, Gameforge announced that it is bringing TERA to even more brave warriors around the globe. Starting this November, Gameforge will launch local servers for TERA in the Americas.

“We wanted to make sure we selected the right partner to help us continue bringing TERA to our players in the Americas,” stated a spokesperson from Bluehole studios. “After so many years working together and seeing how well they have been able to welcome players from other regions, we are confident that Gameforge is the right choice”.

Having also recently acquired the publishing rights for the popular title in Russia, South East Asia, and Commonwealth Independent States territories, Gameforge ensures that existing players who join the newly-hosted servers will be able to continue playing the game and receive the latest content updates that were previously unavailable in their region, including the upcoming TERA Battle Arena and the nightmare dungeons.

Joe Tang, the TERA Product Manager at Gameforge expressed that, “we are very lucky to have such a passionate, global community that continues to grow strong after 8 years of TERA. With the addition of the Americas, we will be able to bring exclusive Gameforge content to this region as well, at no cost to the players and without affecting the progress on their current accounts.”

Existing En Masse Entertainment and Steam players of TERA in the Americas can migrate their accounts, currency, and game progress to Gameforge’s platform starting October 22, 2020, until December 18, 2020 using the official news page. Once completed, players can access the game through the Gameforge client with their updated credentials when Gameforge opens servers in the Americas at the beginning of November 2020. Those players who migrate onto the new servers early will receive an in-game welcome gift.

More information can be found in the official Gameforge TERA forums. Through the Gameforge launcher, players also have access to a broad portfolio of impressive PC and browser games.

Upon migration, players in the Americas will now have access to the upcoming TERA Battle Arena. This new teamplay battle mode brings forth a fresh, new player-versus-player experience, including an all-new story mode, new heroes, rewards, ranking system, and a refreshed user interface. Introducing a new combat system which can be described as an alternative version of the true TERA action combat, every hero has a unique set of abilities that players can utilize to secure victory for their team. The detailed map also contains various objectives that can help teams to gain an advantage over their opponents.
