Zelter takes a cute pixelated art-style, adds a dash of upbeat music, and mixes it all together for a post-zombie-apocalypse crafting and survival experience like no other.

The zombie apocalypse is a tough situation to overcome, even if it takes place in a cute pixelated universe! Try to defend your home and save people from the hordes of zombies in this new crafting survival game.

Here we are: the Zombie Apocalypse has happened. You have been saved by a mysterious group of people and they helped teach you how to survive in this new reality. Though it was tough, they taught you how to fight, craft necessary items, and survive out in the wild.

But you should NEVER underestimate a zombie horde. They broke into your home, and though you fought tirelessly, it was hopeless from the start. Now, you are alone once again.

But at least you are alive, and with all the knowledge that you have, you can start anew once again.

Use your skills to craft tools for both survival and defense, get your own farm going, and go out to scavenge and save lives. Zombies will come for you eventually — all you can do is prepare yourself and your home, so be sure to have your defenses ready and your machine gun turrets fully armed. The zombie apocalypse is a tough thing to overcome even if it happens in a cute pixelated universe, but don’t lose hope just yet! With dozens of crafting options, you can turn your home into an indestructible fortress, set up your own food production systems, and venture out into the zombie infested wilderness to gather valuable loot and survival gear, and save as many people as possible.

Zelter is currently available through Steam Early Access for $19.99USD with a 10% launch discount.

At the current stage, the game provides players with many hours of a fun crafting and survival experience.

The current EA version of the game includes:

  • 120+ craftable items;
  • 10+ Short- and long-range weapons, and barricades;
  • Four types of zombie enemies and a zombie boss;
  • NPC survivors to help you defend your home.

“For now, we are assuming that the development, maintenance, and balancing will take approximately a year. During this time we will always listen to the community and take their feedback into account. After releasing the game in Early Access we will continuously work on patches and bug fixes. First of all, we are going to have small updates with bug fixes, balancing, and minor adjustments. We are also planning to release content updates with new systems and mechanics every 2-3 months.”

Key Features:

  • Who Said Zombies Can’t Be Cute: The edgy phase had a good run, but there’s something special about blasting zombies in a colorful world. Featuring a pixelated 2D world with 3D physics Zelter is a game with a unique and appealing look that disguises a deadly world of undead and environmental dangers.
  • Turn Your Home Into a Fortress: Everyone needs a safe place to rest their heads after a tough day of blasting reanimated corpses back into the afterlife. In Zelter, players collect resources and craft items to build the ultimate zombie-proof homestead!
  • Build Your Dream Team: Rescue survivors and work together to hunt down valuable supplies and man the battlements — plus, it’s always good to have extra bait to distract the undead.
  • Arts and Crafts: Craft tools and weapons to master the “art” of zombie destruction! Venture out into the world to gather supplies, farm resources, and take your cadaver-crushing game to the next level!

Zelter is in development for PC (Steam), scheduled for full release in 2021.
