EVE Online is an MMO game set in a world of galactic proportions, governed by a hyper-capitalistic economy where space flight is the path to all commerce, communication, and conflict.

EVE is a massively multiplayer game, set in a world of galactic proportions. This online universe is governed by a hyper-capitalistic economy where space flight is the path to all commerce, communication, and conflict. Your mission is to establish yourself as a major competitor, trusted by your friends, feared by your enemies. To accomplish this, your principle tools -- apart from an impressive array of sophisticated equipment, customizable space ships and in-game corporations -- will be your natural business acumen, social skills, Machiavellian thinking and cunning combat strategies.

Set tens of thousands of years in the future, EVE Online is a breathtaking journey to the stars, to an immersive experience filled with adventure, riches, danger and glory. With nearly a quarter of a million subscribers worldwide inhabiting the same virtual universe, EVE features a vast player-run economy where your greatest asset is the starship, designed to accommodate your specific needs, skills and ambitions. EVE offers professions ranging from commodities trader to mercenary, industrial entrepreneur to pirate, mining engineer to battle fleet commander or any combination of these and much more. From brokering business deals to waging war, you will have access to a diverse array of sophisticated tools and interfaces to forge your own destiny in EVE.

Today, CCP Games launched a series of exciting updates for EVE Online that switch up the way Capsuleers utilize the Supercarrier ship class, collect bounties, and interact with the Encounter Surveillance System.

  • Vat Out of Hel: Capsuleers can now respawn inside a local fleet Supercarrier -- which has doubled in size alongside a stunning visual update -- and enter a battle-ready ship inside the vessel.
  • Dynamic Bounty System (DBS): Bounty payouts across Nullsec reward Capsuleers who are brave enough to hunt enemies in the most dangerous areas of space. Likewise, systems where pirate activity is under Capsuleer control will see lower payments. New Eden is now reactive to -- and self-correcting from -- player behavior. Now, corporations will need to utilize more of their space if they want to keep their current income levels.
  • Encounter Surveillance System Update (ESS): The ESS is no longer optional and will be present by default in all Nullsec systems. Its location is public and can only be accessed with specific ship classes. There is a unique set of on-grid rules to encourage good sportsmanship and payouts are now automatically awarded to participating PvE players; however, Capsuleers should note the sum is now split between two banks: the Main Bank and Reserve Bank.

In addition to these updates, renovations to Jita Station are now completed. Those who want to check it out, as well as get the inside scoop on the Supercarrier’s updated visuals, can tune into CCP TV for an Art of EVE stream on November 10, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern / 7 a.m. Pacific / 15:00 UTC.
