Dreadlands is a new turn-based skirmish game set in a living post-apocalyptic shared world.

Explore Dreadlands by traveling across its many regions with your misfit gang of miscreants and mercenaries. The game is set in a Shared World where players frequently encounter and interact with each other. Sometimes they cooperate, other times they pick fights in bloody PvP battles.

Build your gang from any of the distinctly different factions inhabiting Dreadlands. Level up and unlock new spectacular tactics to use on the battlefield. Manage your base by purchasing upgrades. And find unique artifacts to combine into new powerful gear.

Dreadlands allows you to carve your own path, find hidden bunkers filled with artifacts from the old world, play an epic story-driven campaign together with your friends in coop and face off against other players in intense PvP battles.

Welcome to the colorful apocalypse, and good luck.

Fatshark announced that the post-apocalyptic turn-based game Dreadlands now has a free demo available on Steam.

Having left Steam Early Access last week, Blackfox Studios are giving PC gamers the chance to dip their toe into the mercenary life with its free single player demo now available to download from Steam. The demo allows gamers to sample the joys of strolling the post apocalyptic landscape of Dreadlands, heavily armed of course, to take on the nefarious gangs, creatures and other toxic entities that dot the wretched hive of villainy.

“The demo gives players a great opportunity to see the amount of work we’ve put into enhancing the player experience based on the amazing feedback from the player community during Early Access. Visuals, U.I, balancing, passive and active skills as well as weapons and more have all undergone a nip and tuck to make Dreadlands a competitive turn-based tactical skirmish game.” Said Blackfox Studios CEO and Dreadlands Creator Peter Nilsson.
