'Hitman III' (ALL) Reveals New Chongqing, China Location - Trailer

by Rainier on Nov. 24, 2020 @ 10:19 a.m. PST

Hitman World Of Assassination is the dramatic conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy, taking players around the world on a globetrotting adventure to sprawling sandbox locations, with Agent 47 returning for the most important contracts of his career.

Supported by his Agency handler, Diana Burnwood, Agent 47 joins forces with his long-lost friend Lucas Grey. Their ultimate mission is to eliminate the partners of Providence, but they are forced to adapt as their hunt intensifies. When the dust settles, 47 and the world he inhabits will never be the same again.

Featuring six meticulously detailed locations packed full of creative opportunities, Hitman III gives players the unrivaled freedom to complete their objectives in a game world that reacts to everything they do. All of this is made possible by IOI’s award-winning Glacier technology, which powers Hitman III’s immersive game world to offer unparalleled player choice and replayability.

Hitman III players can import locations from the previous games in the trilogy and have more than 20+ locations under one roof. All of the improvements to rendering, animation and AI introduced with Hitman III can be enjoyed across all three games, making Hitman III the ultimate place to play the entire World of Assassination trilogy.

Chongqing is a new location for Hitman III, taking Agent 47 to the rainy, neon-lit streets of a Chinese transportation hub packed full of shops and food stands, all crammed into tight streets - with plenty of secrets off the beaten path. Chongqing is also the destination to showcase improvements and refinements coming to Hitman III’s technology.

The latest ‘Under The Hood’ trailer showcases this brand new location with smooth new gameplay moments that show off the refinements to interaction animation and AI, as well as Glacier’s crowd technology that will allow up to 300 NPC’s in a location at once.

Hitman III will look, sound and play better than ever with improvements to lighting, reflections, animation and AI. Chongqing also features full water effects, with details such as rain drops hitting Agent 47 and his clothes getting wet, all adding to the immersion of experiencing Hitman III.

On next-gen consoles, Hitman III will run in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second with HDR support.

The entire Hitman III campaign will be available to play at launch, including PS VR support.

Hitman III will be releasing on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC (Epic Games Store) in January 20, 2021, and Nintendo Switch through Cloud Technology.
