Main Assembly is a crafting game with a revolutionary freeform building system where you take on the role of a drone with the ability to design and build robots for your everyday needs!

In Main Assembly take on the role of a drone with the ability to design and build robots for your everyday needs! Create unique ways to overcome various challenges in single-player or jump into the Sandbox where you can craft and play alone or with other players. Challenge yourself and your friends to create the most exciting looking robot using a freeform crafting tool and modular parts, and then control them through powerful visual programming.

You can also customize your robots by changing the colour palette and drone cosmetic accessories for that personal touch.

Team17 and Bad Yolk Games have opened the doors to a new closed beta for Main Assembly.

The latest beta for the game, which gives players the chance to craft any robot or contraption from simple bikes to eight-legged robots, drag cars to raceable washing machines, and simple gliders to planes, runs for two weeks from Friday 14th February, ending on the 28th February.

Beta signups can be completed by visiting the official site, with keys distributed on the 14th and 21st February.

Main Assembly key features:

  • Freeform crafting: Construct any robot or contraption you can imagine – with no constraints!
  • Solo & multiplayer sandbox gameplay: Work individually or with others online; share your inventions and enjoy endless gameplay possibilities
  • Power visual programming: Harness the power of Main Assembly’s visual programming language to set up unique controls for creations, and even automate them
  • Advanced physics: Experience aerodynamics and robot destruction; fly, drift, and destroy your creations

Powered by Unreal Engine 4 and featuring an advanced physics system with aerodynamics and robot destruction, Main Assembly will launch on Steam Early Access on April 16, 2020.
