Join one of the four unique factions and their fight for control with 90's Japanese animation inspired mechas, going head-to-head in close-up battle cutscenes!

In Warborn, you assemble and command an army of elite units wearing technologically advanced suits of war, also known as Variable Armour. Observe from a top down view of the various maps made up of different hexagonal terrain tiles, call the shots and watch the action unfold in dynamic mid-combat cutscenes!

PQube and developer Raredrop Games announced that mecha commanders-to-be can sign up for an early look at upcoming turn-based tactics game WARBORN on PC and have a chance to win the full game!

The closed beta is now live and will run until May 5th, 00.00 BST.

Here is what's included in the closed beta:

• Play the first five missions in campaign mode
• Compete in Online Multiplayer
• Try two different Variable Armour commanders
• Create your own battlefield with the Map Editor

All participants who share their Map Editor creations with us on Twitter have a chance to win a copy of WARBORN for the platform of their choice! PQube and Raredrop Games Ltd. will choose their five favourite maps among all Twitter entries after the closed beta that:

Key Features:

• DEPLOY: Choose from a wide range of units with different skills and combat roles. Expand your forces by calling in reinforcements from orbital dropships.
• ADVANCE: Use terrain properties to your advantage and make tactical decisions when positioning your forces. Capture structures to obtain additional deployment sites and resources.
