2Awesome Studio Unveils Publishing Initiative, Upcoming Titles

by Rainier on May 20, 2020 @ 9:40 a.m. PDT

After having worked with other teams, 2Awesome Studio has decided to go ahead with the publishing of projects from other teams.

After successfully developing the game Dimension Drive in 2017, 2Awesome Studio has helped other developers publishing their games on different platforms. The Bug Butcher (Awfully Nice Studios) and Back to Bed (Bedtime Digital Games) on Nintendo Switch, Inferno 2 (Radian Games) and Lumini (Speelbaars) on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PS4.

Therefore, it is an honor to present our initiative 2Awesome Partners, in which we give you a sneak peek at the lineup of the 2020 season in video form, and after that a text summarizing all of them.

In words of David Jimenez, co founder of 2Awesome Studio “When we funded 2Awesome Studio in 2014 our main goal was to bring to market games with new and addictive mechanics. Thanks to the experience gained with our own games we are now happy to be able to announce our 2Awesome Partners initiative where we can help other great teams and bring even more awesome games to the players.”

All these games will be coming to the market throughout the year.

Lost Wing (BoxFrog Games; PC, consoles)

Lost Wing is a frantic speed shooter game in which we control a ship that runs through tracks while dodging traps, defeating enemies and getting as many points as possible. The player will work his way through different types of modes, both by randomly generated environments and others created specifically to challenge the player. Also, if you want to have any kind of opportunity to climb the leaderboards, you must defeat the mega bosses first. With a deep electronic soundtrack and stunning neon science fiction visuals, Lost Wing is a game that fans of speed, shooting and high scores will love.

Rainswept (Frostwood Interactive; consoles)

Rainswept is a murder mystery game where the player investigates a double shooting as Detective Stone, helped by local cop Amy Blunt, in the fictional small town of Pineview. Unravel threads of love, relationships and unresolved trauma in this character driven game.

Luckslinger (Duckbridge; Consoles)

In Luckslinger, luck is measurable, collectible, and usable whenever the player desires. Inspired by the unreal fast gunmen, the gritty, dark humor and greed-fueled antiheroes of the spaghetti wester classics. In addition to vinyl sound, rhymes, slow drums, and jazz samples of hip hop culture and sound, Luckslinger is a curious game that mixes platforming, shooting, and some unexpected surprises.

Horned Knight (2kSomnis; PC, Consoles)

Horned Knight is an action platformer where the player controls a brave knight that awakens inside a dungeon. He must overcome all his fears, defeat numerous enemies, dodge many traps and escape from this place to be able to reunite with his family again. There are monsters and traps everywhere! You need to help your knight kill them.
