Pathway is a strategy adventure game featuring turn-based combat and unique story encounters.

Pathway is a strategy adventure game featuring turn-based combat and unique story encounters.

Adventure into the strange unknown with Pathway, a strategy RPG set in the 1930s great desert wilderness. Outwit your enemies in daring turn-based combat, raid occult tombs and make tough choices in a procedurally generated grand pulp expedition!

In a time of global turmoil, Nazi influence spreads inexorably across Europe and the Middle East. Rumors are abound of secret excavations and mysterious artifacts, not to mention the odd whisperings and tales of gruesome occult rituals...

It's up to you to assemble a team of bold adventurers, and journey through the deserts, explore bunkers, and temples of Northern Africa to discover their hidden treasures and secrets before they fall into the hands of Nazi forces. You and your companions must work together to overcome overwhelming odds - the fate of the world depends on it!

Every campaign is generated when it begins, so no two adventures will ever be the same! You never know what's around the next corner - so stay on your toes! Even the most seasoned adventurers can uncover new and exciting discoveries.

Journey into the unknown and uncover hidden secrets, treasures, characters, and events which have been buried away. There's a wealth of discoveries to be found, and surprises to excite you throughout each adventure!

In Pathway, defeat isn't necessarily the end of your adventure. Characters will retain their experience after defeat, so players can invest into building a team which will get progressively stronger! There's even rare equipment and advanced skills and abilities to unlock for every adventurer.

Once Pathway, the current free game on the Epic Games Store, has run its course, it will be up to AER: Memories of Old and Stranger Things 3: The Game, which will be gratis starting June 25 until July 2, 2020.

Stranger Things 3: The Game

Stranger Things 3: The Game is the official companion game to Season 3 of the hit original series.

This adventure game blends a distinctively retro 16-bit art style with modern gameplay mechanics to deliver nostalgic fun with a fresh new twist. Fans will be able to experience their favorite show through a mix of exploration, puzzles, and combat.

Just like in the show, teamwork is at the heart Stranger Things 3: The Game. Fans can team up in two player local co-op or in single player mode alongside an AI partner, in the role of one of twelve characters from the show, each with unique abilities and attributes. Together, they’ll play through familiar events from the series while also uncovering never-before-seen Stranger Things secrets, ensuring a fun experience for those new to the world of Stranger Things and series super fans alike!

AER: Memories of Old

The gods of old are forgotten, lost in the events that shattered the world, leaving only fragments of islands in the sky. On the journey, the player will encounter situations that have not been experienced in generations, and every step leads closer towards the end of the world.

In a genre mix between action adventure and flight exploration, players will join Auk on her pilgrimage. The surreal style of AER will be accompanied by reduced but colorful low poly graphics that underline the quiet tone of the game in a fitting way.

Wings? Yes, indeed! Auk has a rare gift: She can turn into a bird and is one of the few people who can reach even the most remote places in her homeland of flying islands, in search for the “Memories of the Past”. On her journey she encounters other shape shifters, visits the ruins of the old gods and has to face dark creatures to revive the world of AER from menacing shadows.

AER is developed with a focus on strong aesthetics and free exploration gameplay, with all systems building towards that goal: The player is free to explore the world, complete objectives and progress in the order he wants to. All with a seamless, free flight mechanics, and with something new around almost every corner.
