Players will take on the role of the mysterious "Traveler", setting off the voyage of finding their lost sibling, and ultimately unravels the mysteries of themselves and the world.

Joined by a lively companion called Paimon, players will explore the land filled with varied landscapes, culturally – diverse towns, and treacherous dungeons. By mastering the power of the seven elements with a custom party of up to 4 characters, players will overcome merciless foes and fiendish puzzles.

As a free-to-play online title, Genshin Impact enables players to explore Mondstadt and Liyue Harbor – two of the seven major cities in Teyvat – each with unique cultural ambience, stories, vast surrounding landscapes full of diverse creatures and enemies, mysteries, and hidden treasures. Furthermore, the game will continue to expand with more cities, following stories, new characters and seasonal events through live-service updates to enrich the gameplay and expedition in the continent of Teyvat.

Genshin Impact will be released for PS4 (free-to-play ) on September 28, the same day as its official release for PC, Android, and iOS. Players on PS4 will soon be able to explore the vast, magical world of Teyvat together with friends across different platforms via the game's co-op mode, or adventure on their own for an immersive solo experience.

The PS4 version will not only provide exclusive contents but with unique bundle only available via PlayStation Store, which just opened now.

As Genshin Impact is miHoYo's first title to be released on console platforms, the team also took the opportunity to share the unique challenges they faced in making a cross-platform game, emphasizing that they will strive to further improve the game experience on PS4 through constant updates in the future.

"We will continue to listen to player feedback and further improve the PS4 version, constantly optimizing and stabilizing the game to upgrade its technical performance and bring players a better single- and multi-player experience," said Zhenzhong Yi, technical director for Genshin Impact. "More features are in the development pipeline. A soon-to-come version will greatly enhance the rendering of characters, and the scenery will also be improved."

All Genshin Impact players who pre-order on the PS4 will be able to receive exclusive items, including the Sword of Descension and Wings of Descension. As pre-orders for the game go live today on the PlayStation Store, any players who purchase the Adventurer's Starter Bundle prior to release will be able to claim bonus pre-order rewards.

Genshin Impact offers both the classic single-player mode and the cross-platform co-op mode for up to four players. Pre-registeration on Google Play and Apple App Store has opened today, and all players can invite friends to pre-register together via Genshin Impact’s official website at genshin.mihoyo.com to participate the pre-registration campaign to claim a slew of milestone rewards.
