Witch It is a multiplayer "Hide & Seek" game of two competing teams, where brave hunters seek hidden witches in a humorous, magical world. There are currently three game modes: 'Hide & Seek' - hunters have to find all the witches to win the game; 'Mobification' - Catched witches turn into hunters; and 'Hunt a Hag' - skills are disabled for both teams and hunters can only use their melee weapon.

The Witch It world is jam-packed full of humble villages, icy lakes, and ancient libraries for you to explore and hide within. Each map has its own stories and secrets for you to delve in and discover!

As a hunter, your job is to hunt down all the witches for the sake of a peaceful town. Hunters are equipped with a range of different tools and gadgets to help them with their task, whether it is a loyal chicken that scans for sneaky witches, or a body slam skill that causes huge impact damage in one area!

Witches have the ability to mimic almost anything in the landscape, in order to fool the hunters and stay alive. Witches can switch between different props as they please, as well as perform different spells to confuse, scare, and even invert the controls of their opponents!

Witch It will leave Early Access and celebrate its full release on Steam with an extensive update on October 22, 2020.

The multiplayer hit has reached around 750,000 players since its Early Access launch in May 2017. The game is currently on sale on Steam until September 10th. 

The extensive content update at launch includes two brand new magical witch forest maps, a variety of decorative items for witches and hunters as well as a series of extra challenges. Additionally, both classes will each receive a new unique ability, to offer players new gameplay possibilities. Last but not least, bug fixes and many improvements, including new SFX and atmospheric music, make for a more vivid and entertaining game. 

Since its Early Access launch, Witch It has received numerous exciting new features such as the Creative Mode (incl. Steam Workshop support) with its community map editor, gameplay improvements and cosmetic content. The dev team regularly hosts in-game events and has continuously improved the game based on player feedback. Due to the additional content and updates, the scope of Witch It as well as the pricing for the 1.0 launch version will increase soon.

The game has sold almost 100,000 units since its Steam Early Access release in May 2017. So far Barrel Roll Games has been marketing the game on its own and managed to grow a significant fanbase through video content creators, mainly in Europe. One of Daedalic’s main tasks will be growing the international audience of the game, making it more visible in North America, and releasing it on PS4 and Xbox One.

Apart from the console versions and support for a number of new languages, Daedalic is already working on creating more visibility for the game in North America. Visitors to Pax East in Boston during April 5-8, 2018 will be able to get their hands on the game on the showfloor.

Currently available on Steam Early Access, Witch It is coming to PC on October 22, 2020, followed by PS4 and Xbox One versions at a later time.
