'Rumbleverse' Is A Battle Royale Game Coming To Playstation, Xbox And PC, Sign Up For Early Access - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on Dec. 10, 2021 @ 12:40 a.m. PST

Visit Grapital City, where you can brawl anywhere and be anyone! Enter a 40-person melee as you lay the smack down to be declared Champion in this Brawler-Royale.

Rumbleverse is a new free-to-play melee battle royale, firing up to 40 players out of a cannon and into the streets of Grapital City to unleash an ever-changing arsenal of elbow drops, powerbombs, and dropkicks as they scale, leap and vault across the city streets and rooftops.

The setting for Rumbleverse is Grapital City, a place that was built as a monument to the glorious traditions of melee combat. Every citizen of this island lives for the fight and dreams of becoming a champion, and you can become one of them. In this game, you’ll create a unique character to be shot out of a cannon to experience the Rumble. Dash through the city streets in search of upgrades to level up the way you fight and battle all challengers to be the last player standing – either alone or as a member of a tag-team.

Rumbleverse is what we call a Brawler Royale. If you’ve ever played a battle royale game, you’re in for some surprises. This is a chance for you to put down the long-range weapons and get up close and personal with your opponents. In Grapital City, almost anything can be a weapon and there is no structure you cannot climb. There is chaos around every corner. You can leap from rooftop to rooftop. You can suplex an opponent from the heights of the tallest skyscraper to the streets below.

Customize your fighter with everything from a chef hat, to a hotdog vest, to a chicken mask – with 14 points of customization you’ll be sure to create a character that’s wholly unique to you.

“This journey began for us with an idea to create an experience that was social, competitive, and chaotic. We wanted to build a big, hilarious playground where spectacular things are always happening. Rumbleverse combines our love for melee combat with the teamwork and player expression that have made games such a crucial source of human interaction," says Iron Galaxy Co-CEO Adam Boyes.

For a live look at Rumbleverse, tune in to the First Look tomorrow, December 10 from 12pm-6pm EST, as select players blast themselves into Grapital City and give the world its first taste of Rumbleverse action. Iron Galaxy will be giving out a limited number of codes to lucky viewers.

On February 8, 2022 Iron Galaxy and Epic Games will launch an Early Access Beta, sign up on the official website for your chance to be selected to play the full game. Players can also sign up for and receive guaranteed access to the Early Access Beta by purchasing the Early Access Pack on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Games Store, or the Epic Games Store. The Early Access Pack also includes an exclusive cosmetic set, featuring 3 Karategi sets worn by the city's most notorious dojo masters, plus 2000 Brawlla Bills (our virtual currency used in game).

Rumbleverse will have a Battle Pass when Season One starts on February 15, 2021.

Rumbleverse is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with full support crossplay and cross-progression, making it easy to team up or battle it out with your friends no matter where you choose to play.
