'The Axis Unseen' Announced By Former Fallout And Skyrim Developer - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on Dec. 2, 2021 @ 7:20 p.m. PST

The Axis Unseen is a heavy metal open world horror game where you hunt and track monsters in a world trapped outside of time.

Hunt monsters from folklore all around the world. Follow their tracks and blood trails. Pay attention to the wind direction so they can't smell you approaching.

The Axis Unseen features original music by Clifford Meyer, previously of the legendary post-metal bands ISIS and Red Sparowes. It is a unique blend of Heavy Metal and primitive instruments.

Upgrade your bow with better strings, stronger materials or even different arrow types.

Upgrade your senses with the powers of the creatures. See scent particles. Feel the warmth left behind on their tracks. See colors that no human has ever seen.

Return to the lodge or a safe space before night. This is a hostile world and they will find you and kill you.

Don't forget that you are being hunted as well.

Just Purkey Games is a solo indie game company founded by Nate Purkeypile. Nate has over 17 years experience in the games industry and worked on titles such as Bloodrayne 2, Aeon Flux, Metroid Prime 3, Fallout 3, Skyrim, Fallout 4, Fallout 76 and Starfield. Three of those games (Fallout 3, Skyrim and Fallout 4) won the most Game of the Year Awards for the years they came out. He was the Lead Artist on Fallout 76 and the Fallout 3 DLCs Point Lookout and The Pitt.

The Axis Unseen is coming to PC (Steam and Epic Store) with consoles being considered.
