In Blind Drive, players take control of a kidnapped driver who has been blindfolded, chained to his steering wheel and told to drive by a mysterious voice on the phone. Oh, and they've taken your grandma hostage.
Relying on hearing, instincts and reflexes alone, players will need to drive against the traffic and make it to safety, while a hilarious B-movie crime-comedy story plays out around them.
But with erratic drivers, bicyclists and a surprising number of ice cream vans on the road, it's not going to be easy.
Blind Drive has got hyper-realistic sound design (dubbed by Mashable “VR for your ears”), fast-paced two-button gameplay, 28 levels including boss fights and secrets and a ridiculous crime-comedy story with mobsters, dolphins and one angry grandmother.
To celebrate the announcement of Blind Drive's release date, Lo-Fi People will be making a special demo available during the Steam Game Festival which begins today.
