The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar will allow players to forge heroic legacies in the War for Middle-Earth.

The Lord of the Rings Online is the ultimate interactive adventure. This massively multiplayer online role-playing game delivers an interactive experience brimming with life and filled with the familiar people, places and monsters from the most beloved fantasy of all time.

From the picturesque surroundings of the Shire to Moria, the most fearsome underground realm ever imagined, players will experience the world of Middle-earth as never before.

This month marks the 14th anniversary of The Lord of the Rings Online, the iconic MMO from Standing Stone Games.

From April 21st to May 11th, players can celebrate 14 years of LOTRO with in-game festival activities, milestone rewards that are activated based on how long players have been playing the game, and other festive rewards.

In addition to the anniversary celebrations, update 29.5 arrives on April 19th, providing Further Adventures content and legendary server wastes for VIP players.

Further Adventures is a set of missions focused on revealing new stories about the remarkable Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins. The content is free for VIPs and costs 495 LOTRO Points for all other players. Between now and May 9th, players can redeem code: SAVEBILBO to play the missions for free for a limited time.

The level cap is also increased on LOTRO’s legendary server, which is exclusive to VIPs, allowing players to experience level 105 content up to the Black Gates of Mordor (including the battle outside Minas Tirath, the March of the King to the Black Gate, and the fighting outside the Black Gate).
