Beasties is a lovingly hand-drawn 2D top/down monster trainer game with a turn-based match-3 combat mechanic, where you take on the role of a Beastie trainer.Form alliances with Beasties, earn money with farming, explore the world, craft food for the Beasties and craft various items. Collect and manage resources, discover small and big secrets and solve countless side tasks and challenges in a peaceful (wholesome) and humorous world.
Farm, sell plant based farm products (contains gluten), make food for your Beasties (if you want, glutenfree), prepare yourself and your Beasties for the adventure, explore the world, challenge other Beastie teams, form an alliance with them, collect resources, complete side quests (K-Pop drama included), find secrets and when you are ready, enter the arena to fulfill your dream of becoming the best Beastie trainer!
The game's turn-based match-3 combat system is easily accessible for beginners, but offers enough depth and the ability to plan moves far in advance for hardened veterans. Beasties don't get hurt in combat either, so don't worry about your friends! They like to brawl our Beasties ;)
All the food you grow is plant-based and allows you to craft recipes to both boost your friends beasties and sell excess crops on the market.

Beasties plans to be available through Steam Early Access in Q3/Q4 2021 and plans to remain so for about 8 to 12 months.
