Based in Sweden, WhyKev is the property of a solo developer Kevin Andersson, working on the game Hoplegs, which was recently made available on Steam Early Access ($17.99).

Just a few weeks after announcing the previous studio addition to its roster, the collective Aurora Punks keeps recruiting promising talents in the indie developer community.

Kevin Andersson, WhyKev owner declares “If there's one thing that I keep saying over and over every third month or so in conversations it is "I just want to make video games". I am excited for this opportunity to focus on just that and see how far we can go together!”

Robert Bäckström, Aurora Punks founder and Chairman adds “I think it was recommended to me to check his Twitch dev streams which I lurked for a while - (they are great fun btw) before asking for a date. I think our first conversation went something along the line:
Him: - I tend to keep my own projects to myself.
Me: - Don´t do that. We want you to work on your darlings and we’ll pay you to do so.
Him: - Can I work on whatever I want?
Me: - Yeah, more or less, yes.
Him: - Can you take care of my book keeping?
Me: - If you want us to, yes.
The rest is history.”
