Forza Horizon 4 is aiming to be the largest and most dynamic Forza title to date. Allowing to you race everything from sports cars to hovercrafts, it's aiming to create a dynamic online experience unlike any other.
The biggest new feature for Forza Horizon 4 is seasons that change the game world. A lake may be frozen in winter or paths may unexpectedly open in spring, allowing the large world to be even more fluid than ever.
Forza Horizon 4 is set in Britain, and players can explore the cities and countryside in dozens of fast and expensive cars.
Collect, modify and drive over 450 cars. Race, stunt, create and explore – choose your own path to become a Horizon Superstar.
In its latest livestream, Playground Games revealed that Forza Horizon 4 will no longer be receiving new content such as cars or features after Series update 38.
Instead the developers will rehash older material and bring back content from season 7 - 32.
Most of the Playground Games devs will transition to working on the upcoming Forza Horizon 5, which will run at 4k/30fps on Xbox Series X, while the Xbox Series S version will do 1080p @ 60fps. The game will include a performance mode, allowing gamers to crank up the FH5 to 60fps, at the expense of certain graphical features being toned down.
Forza Horizon 4 is available on Xbox One and PC (included with Xbox Game Pass).
