The Tartarus Key drops players into the unfortunate shoes of Alex Young, a young woman who awakens to find herself locked inside a sprawling manor, seemingly under constant observation by a network of cameras.
However, it soon becomes clear that whoever is watching Alex from behind the lens is the least of her concerns in this house of tricks and shadows, and furthermore, she’s not the only one being held captive.. At the end of a portable radio is an unfamiliar voice, and the farther Alex goes, the stranger things become. Who - or what - lies at the heart of this mansion?
Players will make their way through the chilling manor, solving puzzles along the way. Alex's fellow captives are also waiting to be found, and their survival will depend on choices made throughout the game.
With three unique endings to discover, The Tartarus Key encourages players to explore every corner of this bizarre place and discover the mysteries within as they try to find a way out.
"We're hard at work making The Tartarus Key, and we hope you'll enjoy its blend of authentic vibes and puzzles!" said Leonor Parra and Kevin Colegate of development team Vertical Reach.
