Successor to its MMORPG The Pride of Taern, Broken Ranks may remind some people of such classics as the HoM&M series and Baldur’s Gate.

Adventurers will be able to complete many quests and journey through the huge and interesting world. They may do so alone or in a group together with their friends or even guild mates as guilds are central to the multiplayer aspect of the game.

The world of Broken Ranks is once again open to the general public as Whitemoon Games is happy to invite you all to try out their MMORPG for the second time.

After the first tests with more than 25 thousand participants from all around the world, a lot of feedback was given. The developers decided to let players try out some of the fixes to see if everything’s fine and also enjoy another part of the main storyline, new sidequests and boss instances. They will also be able to continue the stress tests of the servers.

“After a rather problematic start of the first Open Beta, we want to implement solutions that will help us during the release and improve the stability of the servers when a lot of players are present. Surprisingly, the DDoS attacks during the Open Beta actually helped us pinpoint what we need to improve. The upcoming Open Beta will act as a technical test, but we’ll also be able to show to the players some of the fixes we implemented thanks to their feedback.”, says the founder of the studio, Krzysztof Danilewicz.

Open Beta 2 begins on Friday, September 17th at 9PM CEST and ends on Sunday, September 19th at 9PM CEST.

A very important information for all the players who participated in the first tests - you’ll be able to continue playing with the same characters. You won’t need to create new ones. The client is available for download from the official website.

Broken Ranks will be available in the following language versions: Polish, English, Russian, German, and French. The list is not complete.
