Babylon's Fall is an online multiplayer action RPG where you take on the role of a Sentinel and face ferocious enemies and dreadful dungeons alongside companions as you journey to reach the peak of the Ziggurat.Featuring fluid co-op-combat, powerful weapons and a striking art style, Babylon's Fall can be played in parties up to four. A range of post-launch game modes will be available at no additional cost.
In Babylon's Fall, players become a group of warriors known as the sentinels, bonded with special equipment called Gideon Coffins, and throw themselves into an odyssey to overcome the titanic Tower of Babylon, within which sleeps a great legacy. In addition to weapons wielded in both hands, characters can use the power of their Gideon Coffin to equip two more, allowing for combinations of up to four weapons at once. The capabilities of different equipment also brings endless variation to the strategy that can be employed.
Since Babylon's Fall is a co-op game with a party of up to four players, playing with a team gives you all kinds of options in combat, letting you combine your different weapons and abilities to conquer the many challenges of the tower.
Square Enix announced that owners of a PlayStation console will be able to download a playable demo ofBabylon's Fall for free from February 25, 2022.
The demo will give those with a PS4 or PS5 access to the game's opening sequence where they can experience single-player gameplay and four-player co-op cross-play for free. All progress and achievements will carry over to the full version of the game on PlayStation consoles when the game launches on March 3.
Those who pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition of Babylon's Fall will receive early access to the full game starting February 28.
Square Enix also announced that everyone playing Babylon's Fall will receive the Premium Battle Pass "Eternal Tower" for free during the first season (will aprox. last 3 months).
The visuals are achieved using a newly developed "brushwork style" to create a fantasy setting with a medieval oil painting aesthetic.
Babylon's Fall will also offer early access for pre-orders on the digital deluxe version beginning on February 28.
Babylon's Fall is coming to PS4, PS5 and PC on March 3, 2022.
