Created by an all-star team, including creative director YOKO TARO, composer Keiichi Okabe from MONACA and producer Yosuke Saito, NieR Re[in]carnation tells the story of a girl who awakens in a mysterious place known as The Cage. Guided by a creature who calls herself Mama, the girl sets off on a journey through The Cage to reclaim what she has lost and to atone for her sins.
Until March 14, players can experience the following during the NieR: Automata crossover:
NieR:Automata “Record: The Cage of Reincarnation” Crossover Quests - Participate in a new crossover storyline, which is available to all players who have completed Chapter 2 of the Main Scenario. Additionally, players can clear quest battles throughout the storyline to receive Automata Medals, which can be exchanged for event-exclusive rewards.
NieR:Automata Collab Rewards - Unlock exclusive costumes, including pick-up units for 9S, 2B, and A2, as well as receive a free 220-pull gacha as a part of the collaboration event.
Until March 9, players can jump into the following 1st Anniversary Celebration activities:
- 1st Anniversary “Record: Foundation of Fortune” Event Quests - Explore an exclusive storyline, which is available to all players who have completed Chapter 2 of the Main Scenario, as well as complete quest battles to receive Foundation of Fortune Medals, which can be exchanged to obtain new character and weapon sets, and various materials. In the event quest, players will also find a new costume for the Child Soldier Lars, entitled “Celebratory Soldier.”
- 1st Anniversary Rewards - As a part of the “Fortune's Dress Summon”exclusive characters including “Celebratory Gunman,” “Celebratory Exile” and “Celebratory Witch” will appear, and to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Japanese launch of NieR Re[in]carnation, all players will receive 220 free summon gacha.
