It’s time to spin academia on its head! Got a yearning for learning? Or just keen to build an educational masterpiece? Campus is jam-packed with new creative tools to help you build the university of your dreams.

For the first time, build in the great outdoors as you develop your own delightfully educational campus environment, housing the top teaching facilities in the land. Whether you prefer building on simple foundations, or placing every tree, you can build the university you want.

Lay down pathways with new easy-to-use tools. Plant glorious collections of outdoor flora. Place benches, fountains, sculptures, hedgerows – even picket fences. The only limit is your imagination (and your in-game bank balance).

Two Point Campus players will have to wait just a little while longer for it, as the release date for Two Point Campus moves from the previously announced May 17, 2022 release date to August 9, 2022.

While the decision has been made to delay the release of Two Point Campus by a few months, the vision for the game has remained the same. In the above new video, the developers from Two Point Studios explain why they wanted to make Two Point Campus and discuss some of the exciting new features that players can expect in the game. They also describe how Two Point Campus has evolved from their previous game, Two Point Hospital. "Our ambition from the start has been to release Two Point Campus across all PC and console platforms simultaneously to the quality and standard that our community expects from us. This means we will need a little bit more time with Two Point Campus to make sure we deliver the best possible game that can be enjoyed equally on all platforms. We will use these additional three months to optimize Two Point Campus for all platforms.

As you know, one of our biggest goals with Two Point Campus is to launch on PC and console platforms from day one, and we want to make sure that every single one of you gets the best quality game no matter what you're playing on. So in order for everyone to have the incredible experience we all want you to have, we need a little more time to continue our optimisation efforts for all platforms. Now don't get us wrong... we're nearly there! So the extra three months we have is going to really help us get Two Point Campus to the quality you've all come to expect from us as a studio.

But, of course, it wouldn’t be a Two Point game without a twist.

Rather than typical academic fare, students in Two Point County enjoy a range of wild and wonderful courses: from Knight School (hey, we all have to learn jousting at some point in our lives), to the salivatory Gastronomy, where your students will build mouth-watering concoctions like giant pizzas and enormous pies.

Two Point Campus is coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam) on August 9, 2022.
