Nightingale is a first-person, PVE, open-world survival crafting game played solo or cooperatively with friends. Explore alone or band together with other survivors, obtaining valuable materials to construct settlements, and craft vital tools and weaponry as you fight against deadly monstrosities and the Fae, humanity’s magical rivals. 

Thrown into a labyrinth of fantastical and perilous worlds in the wake of a magical cataclysm, players must venture through mystical portals to explore increasingly dangerous realms, in search of the last haven of humanity, Nightingale. 

You are stranded beyond our world, cut off by the collapse of the arcane portal network. This catastrophe has left you fighting to survive in a labyrinth of beautiful and dangerous Fae realms.

Your goal: become a skilled Realmwalker, and navigate the web of transdimensional portals. Only then can you discover your way to the magical city of Nightingale, the last known bastion of humanity.

The trailer introduces Realm Cards, Automaton adversaries, and more unique gameplay mechanics that will empower Realmwalkers who venture into Nightingale’s immersive gaslamp fantasy universe.

As showcased in the trailer, Nightingale’s Realm Cards offer players an innovative path to influence their experience as they navigate the mystical portal network. By wielding the magick-infused Realm Cards wisely, intrepid Realmwalkers have the power to determine the specific attributes of each new Faewild world they conjure.

Players are able to craft Realm Cards from resources gathered across the realms, imbuing them with unique attributes - including environment type, weather patterns, resources, challenges and much more. Card attributes are used in conjunction with Nightingale’s sophisticated procedural generation system, allowing players to create a realm based on the conditions set out, increasing the depth and variety of exploration, discovery and adventure.

he new gameplay trailer also includes a deeper look at key survival gameplay features, including crafting, estate building and combat, which players can experience in both solo and co-op play. Finally, the trailer teases the Automatons - a calculating new Fae enemy that Realmwalkers will encounter when adventuring through the realms.

• Deadly Encounters: Craft and wield a variety of melee weapons and firearms in first-person combat. Confront the fearsome creatures that lurk in the portal network. Fend off incursions by the twisted Fae mimicries of humanity known only as the Bound. Join other players against colossal apex creatures in the deepest reaches of the realms.

Nightingale is in development for PC (Steam/Epic Games Store), coming in 2023 (Early Access in Q4 2022).
